San Francisco Legal Adds “Color” to Pelli Clarke Pelli/Hines’ Proposal
to Build San Francisco Transbay Transit Center and Tower

San Francisco, CA ,  September 12, 2007 San Francisco Legal, the leading litigation support services provider for the San Francisco Bay Area, provided color reprographic services for the proposal presented by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and Houston-based developer Hines to build the future Transbay Transit Center at First and Mission Streets in San Francisco. The presentation packets were presented to local dignitaries, politicians and press during the unveiling of three models, one of which will be selected by the Transbay Joint Powers Authority Board of Directors on September 20, 2007.

San Francisco Legal worked closely with the Hines development team over several months, providing a host of documents, floor plans, and press materials – some of which required highlights printed in exactly the same color as featured on the architectural drawings. For example, on the first of ten full-color presentation boards, a 1,200-foot tall, obelisk-shaped tower, proposed to be the tallest building on the West Coast, is backlit by a stunning sunset with clouds of bluish purple – a unique shade that has since become identified with the Pelli Clarke Pelli/Hines proposal. San Francisco Legal also provided deadline-intensive services the night before the models were unveiled at San Francisco’s City Hall, including late night delivery of completed presentation packets.

“We’re honored to contribute our talent to a project that is history in the making,” said Christian Lawrence, managing partner of San Francisco Legal. “The Pelli Clarke Pelli/Hines design for the Transbay Transit Center is as elegant as it is functional and we hope that it is selected to become one of San Francisco’s greatest civic achievements.”
