San Francisco Legal Helps Shape Future SF Skyline as Pelli Clarke Pelli/Hines’ Proposal Chosen for Transbay Transit Center and Tower

San Francisco, CA, September 20, 2007 San Francisco Legal, the leading litigation support services provider in the San Francisco Bay Area, is helping to shape San Francisco’s future landmark, the Transbay Transit Center, at First and Mission Streets. Today, the Transbay Joint Powers Authority Board of Directors unanimously selected the design of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and Houston-based developer Hines for the future center. San Francisco Legal provided the color reprographic services that were part of the winning bid for the tallest building on the West Coast. The reprographics are a showcase for San Francisco Legal’s quality and talent, and provided Pelli Clarke Pelli/Hines a trademark color – a unique bluish purple – for branding the 1,200-foot tall Transbay Center design.

In addition to providing the color for ten presentation boards, San Francisco Legal also served as Hines’ partner in preparing and delivering floor plans and press materials over a period of several months. The new Transbay Transit Center will accommodate nine transportation systems under a single roof, and is designed to be the centerpiece of a new San Francisco neighborhood and will include a 5.4-acre rooftop park.

“The Pelli design is absolutely stunning with a lot of light and clean air, making it a very environmentally sustainable space,” said Christian Lawrence, managing partner of San Francisco Legal. “We were honored to be asked to lend our expertise to this exciting project. Now, we have the additional pleasure of being part of the future as the Transit Center is transformed from an architect’s vision into a San Francisco landmark.”
