SF Legal Names Joel Resnick Director of Data Collection and Electronic Discovery
Industry Expert Experienced with Large-Scale Data Collection Looks Forward to Saving Clients Time and Money Throughout Entire e-Discovery Process
San Francisco, CA --- August 26, 2008 --- San Francisco Legal today announced that Joel Resnick has joined the firm as director of data collection and e-discovery. Resnick has a decade of experience in the field of e-discovery and forensics, most recently as director of operations for the Huron Consulting Group in Washington, D.C. He began his career as a computer forensics investigator in Westchester County, New York, where he was also a New York State peace officer.

At Huron, Resnick implemented a new e-discovery processing platform, while managing multiple large litigation cases, including one which involved collection from more than 200 custodians and multiple terabytes of server data. Previously, as a discovery services managing consultant for LECG, he helped establish the company’s Washington, D.C. computer forensic and e-discovery laboratory and managed complex global litigation projects, including one based in London.
“I’m looking forward to meeting with our clients and consulting with them on how to minimize overall costs through efficient collections and streamlined data processing,” Resnick said.
In addition to providing SF Legal’s clients with true end-to-end support for e-discovery, Resnick hopes to find time to indulge in his favorite pastime – playing in charity golf tournaments.

to San Francisco was definitely enticing after I realized how much
closer I’d be to Pebble Beach,” he said.
