More Data Makes Filtering and Analysis Essential

The average office worker creates two gigabytes of data every year. That’s about 120,000 pages, or 30,000 documents. In comparison, data collections in litigation matters routinely create hundreds of gigabytes, sometimes even several terabytes, of data for review. Unfortunately, most of that data is completely irrelevant.

You don’t need to boil the ocean to take a hot bath
Our filtering and analysis process saves you time and money by sifting out the irrelevant data before the full review team goes to work. First, the SF Legal Discovery Consultants work with you to create an effective data culling strategy. We can de-duplicate the population. Narrow it down to specific date ranges. Exclude specified file types.

Then, using the dTSearch Engine embedded in our software, we can run all sorts of keyword searches, including custom key word lists, Boolean searching, fuzzy searching, synonyms, and proximity-based functionality.

If that doesn’t significantly reduce the data set, prior to full processing we can import your data into a proprietary web-based application that enables large datasets to be indexed and culled. This Google-like tool applies proprietary patent-pending algorithms that yield relevancy ranking, communication flow and discussion thread analysis.

We’d be happy to set up a demonstration for you. Call 415.392.2900 and we’ll make the arrangements. And boil a pot of water for tea.
